When do the members meet?

American Legion Post 64 holds its monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the ARC, from 4:00PM to 5:00PM. Following the meeting, members can enjoy refreshments and camaraderie, and are welcome to bring their preferred acoholic beverage; we typically have wine and water available. Please note that our meeting frequency is reduced during the summer months of June and September, as many members seek cooler climates. Additionally, we aim to organize at least one veteran social mixer on the last day of each month, depending on post events. We actively engage with our local schools, bestowing awards upon elementary schools, recognizing the achievements of middle school students with awards and coins, and granting a $200 scholarship plus an award to high school students. Our commitment extends to providing financial assistance to veterans in need, partnering with organizations dedicated to addressing homelessness, as well as collaborating with local businesses and veteran organizations to ensure a smooth transition for veterans as they reintegrate into civilian life. Through our Buddy Check Program, we prioritize the well-being of our members, ensuring they have a direct line of support should they require assistance. So much more!
